Pinehurst Cup Final

AND THE WINNER IS… Rob Leonard, who also took home the Pinehurst Cup in 2007, overcame third round leader Trace Pinchak, the Milton, PA, ringer from Flint Energy Services (no. not Dunder Mifflin) , with an even par on the final day to storm from behind with a cumulative +17, winning by a single stroke. Co-host Gus Gusler (+19) finished third, with Chris Kuehn (+20) fourth and VH1’s Rick Krim (+21) fifth in an air-tight finish for the 20-player field. As we speak, Lyor Cohen is still digging his way out of a sand trap on the 15th hole, while any stray UMPG employees are sniffing the greens. Congrats to Krim and Gusler on another superb tournament. This one deserves a mulligan. (5/20p)
