Daft Punk on multiple formats
SPEAKING OF ACCESS: Daft Punk has happened at an unprecedented six formats prior to release date with “Get Lucky,” including Pop, Rhythmic, Modern Rock and Hot AC, with a bit of Triple A and Urban. Just one example: This week finds San Diego’s Modern Rock 91X and KBZT, Rhythmic KEGY and XHTZ, Top 40 KHTS and Triple A KPRI all on the Columbia band's track, for a total of almost 300 spins in one market. All this action, by the way, is happening in major markets. Now, at last, the release is here; as you may have read below, the album is on track to bow at 300-325k. (5/22p)
