Little Mix top UK girl group

UP IN THE MIX: With the #4, 50k bow of their album DNA, Columbia's distaff U.K. pop foursome Little Mix—who prevailed on the British X Factor series—have achieved another career benchmark: They've passed the Spice Girls for the most successful debut of all time (and the first-ever Top 5 bow) by a British female group. The quartet's already sold some 2 million records worldwide. First single "Wings" has over 51m YouTube views and was performed on Glee; a follow-up track is on deck, and the group appears on Good Morning America tomorrow (6/7). Props to label ruler Rob Stringer, EVP/GM Joel Klaiman and SVP marketing Doneen Lombardi on the marketing, and to promo domo Lee Leipsner for the radio campaign. Speaking of the Spice Girls, Mel B celebrated her 38th birthday drinking champers on the beach with her hubby recently. Meanwhile, a HITS President celebrated his birthday by yelling at pigeons.
