JUDY NEWS, UPDATE: Former MTV Networks ruler Judy McGrath's new company is being formed in conjunction with Sony Music, though word is that the entity isn't a label. As we mentioned yesterday, the well-liked exec rose from MTV copywriter to ruler of the company's chain of successful properties during her 30-year tenure, before stepping down in 2011. Since then, McGrath, who'll be 61 on July 2, has formed Judy McGrath & Associates, a management firm repping visual artists, while also serving as an adviser for video start-up NowThisNews. (6/13p)
