Andrew WK at O Awards

CAN HE STICK THE LANDING? As you know, the O Awards celebrate the best in digital music every year. This time out, rock maniac Andrew WK hopes to use the event to set a world record. For what, you ask? Why, longest drum solo ever undertaken in a retail establishment. Seated astride his drum stool at Oakley's Times Square store, with assistance from various co-pilots (including ?uestlove), Andrew will bash away for the duration of the online awards show on 6/19, starting at 7pm EST, with only the tweets of fans to keep him going (he also happens to be up for Must Follow Artist on Twitter). Here's hoping we don't have a repeat of last summer's office kazoo-off, which resulted in multiple casualties. (6/17p)
