Robin Thicke single sales

CROSSING “LINES”: Robin Thicke f/Pharrell & T.I. "Blurred Lines" (Star Trak/Interscope) will sell over 400k digital singles this week. As you gleaned from last week’s round-up of digital track sales, only one other song has passed that threshold in a single week so far in 2013, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' "Thrift Shop" (Macklemore), which sold 412k for the week ending 2/17. The Jordan Feldstein-managed Thicke should surpass that feat by about 5-10k and bring his total single sales very close to the 2 million mark. It’s a monster achievement for Iovine and Janick’s revitalized IGA; the team also helped bump up the song’s visibility still further with a sexy Radio Shack/Beats Pill tie-in (in the style of the even steamier video) that aired during game one of the NBA finals.
