Jay-Z post-release

FIRST SIP FROM THE GRAIL: As anticipated, Jay-Z's Magna Carta Holy Grail was unlocked for 1 million owners of eligible Samsung devices at midnight EST on the Fourth, and single "Holy Grail" featuring Justin Timberlake (all five minutes-plus of it, with a stunning JT hook and pointed Nirvana quote) was released to radio. Oh, and the album became available for pre-order at the iTunes Store with home-page placement—and immediately seized the #1 spot on the album chart. Of course, with the unlocking came the inevitable pirate downloads; Magna Carta hit #1 on those sites like a shot. (7/4a)
