Jay and Justin start Legends Tour

PRINT THE LEGEND: Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake joined forces for the first show in the Legends of the Summer tour this weekend at Yahoo's Wireless Festival in London. The Live Nation-promoted trek moves on to Toronto on Wed. (7/17) and envelops the U.S. thereafter, with dates going into 2014. The setlist for the first show offered hits-packed solo sets and joint perfs by the two megastars (setlist and dates are posted here). Meanwhile, the two are sharing another stage right now: the iTunes album chart, where the Roc Nation sensation Magna Carta Holy Grail sits at #1 (as it does on our Building Album Chart) and pre-orders on JT's 20/20 Part 2 (RCA) place it at #2. The pair's Magna Carta duet, "Holy Grail" (the first notes of which elicited a deafening roar at the London show) occupies the #4 spot on the singles chart. Timberlake's new single, "Take Back the Night," just entered the Pop radio chart. (7/15p)
