TRIAL UPDATE: Katherine Jackson said on Friday that she called AEG Live CEO Randy Phillips and then-manager Tohme Tohme to tell them she believed her son could get through 50 shows, but not if they were right on top of each other. "He couldn't do every other night like AEG wanted him to do at first," she said, but offered no other specifics about the calls. Asked what had motivated her to bring the suit against AEG, Ms. Jackson explained, "I want to know what really happened to my son." The defense will begin its case today, as the trial enters week 13.
