TRIAL UPDATE: Katherine Jackson concluded her two days of often confused and contradictory testimony yesterday, but the 83-year-old grandmother did manage to score some points with one memorable accusatory line. Tearfully asserting that no one from AEG Live ever informed her family of her son’s deteriorating physical and mental condition, she said, "They watched him waste away." She also said it was hurtful to see emails from AEG executives mocking Jackson, including one in which he was called “the freak,” and she grew impatient with the probing of defense attorney Marvin Putnam, several times complaining “I already answered that question.” Mrs. Jackson’s testimony concluded the plaintiffs’ case; AEG’s defense team will begin calling witnesses today.
