Lone Bellow-RED Friday lite item

GOT ANY NEAPOLITAN? The Lone Bellow pulled out all the stops for their homecoming show, a headlining gig under the Celebrate Brooklyn nameplate, before heading to the Pickathon outside Portland, OR, this weekend and Outside Lands in S.F. the weekend after that. RED’s 'stache media team helped the band thank their fans for showing up by working with Brooklyn ice cream purveyors Van Luuewen, who created a Lone Bellow ice cream truck for the occasion, complete with branded napkins (now going for $20 and up on eBay) . Zach Williams (in the plaid shirt) and his bandmates then handed out free ice cream to their fans, who bellowed their appreciation. Speaking of RED—but switching formats entirely—the distribbery is making a lot of noise in the hard-rock sector, boasting about a third of all records sold in the genre for the week ending 7/29 (thanks in large part to the recent debut by Equal Vision band We Came as Romans), and is the #2 distributor YTD of extremely loud music for people with pierced eyebrows (owning nearly a quarter of the market).
