Jesse tip: Allen Stone to Capitol

EVERYBODY MUST WANT STONE: Allen Stone, the blue-eyed soul phenom from Washington state who’s a favorite of VH1, Daryl Hall and us, among others, is close to inking a deal with Capitol, according to inside sources. Interestingly, Stone’s self-titled, self-released 2011 album was subsequently picked up and given national exposure by ATO, which recently inked a distribution deal with Caroline, another division of Steve Barnett’s Capitol Music Group.
