MLB uses Blondfire hook

WHERE CREDIT IS DUE: As sports fans peripherally connected to the music biz, we’re intrigued by the song choices the networks make to play as bumpers or under highlights. For example, Fox used a section of Grace Potter & the Nocturnals’ “The Lion, the Beat, the Beast” during a preseason NFL telecast over the weekend, though we only know that because we know the song. But the MLB Network is taking things a step further by actually crediting the song and artist, as you’ll see and hear above in the case of Blondfire’s stadium-ready “Where the Kids Are.” Good one, guys, on more than one level.
