iHeart Fest

VEGAS WINNERS: The weekend's iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas featured pyrotechnics galore (notably from Paul McCartney and Bruno Mars), an extended set by Justin Timberlake, an intense, visually spectacular performance by Thirty Seconds to Mars and emotional fireworks from Miley Cyrus, among many other highlights; see our overview here. Backstage was heavy with industry players; among those spotted were Irving Azoff, Clear Channel's John Ivey and CAA's Rob Light. Ryan Seacrest was the main host for both evening shows. Overall, the third iteration of Clear Channel's music confab was a smashing success; kudos are due to Messrs. Hogan, Pittman, Sykes and Poleman. (9/23a)
