Vibe tease

BATTERIES NOT INCLUDED: Three acts join our Vibe-Raters roundup this week, two returning and one a debut. Capitol's Emeli Sande returns to the fold with new track "My Kind of Love"; with gigantic Grammy buzz, multi-format love and video ubiquity, the British chart-topper is preparing for U.S. dates. She'll be playing the iHeartRadio British Invasion show in NYC tonight. Black Magnetic/Epic's A Great Big World, meanwhile, continues to be propelled by a big synch on So You Think You Can Dance, which shot their haunting "Say Something" up the iTunes chart (one of the biggest reactions ever to a song on the show). The duo is now the fastest-growing new act at Hot AC; their full-length is due out on 11/25. And debuting is Republic's John Newman, another U.K. phenom; his "Love Me Again" is seeing early chart energy at Top 40 and Hot AC, with global track sales already passing the one-milllion mark. In other Vibe news, Lava/Republic's Lorde, RCA's Miley Cyrus, sensibility/Columbia's The Civil Wars and Republic's Ariana Grande occupy the top four posts, while Columbia's HAIM leapfrogs a stunning 10 spots to #5. See the whole kit and kaboodle here. (10/10p)
