Primary inks Melissa Etheridge.

MELISSA DOES THE WAVE: Primary Wave Music has inked singer/songwriter Melissa Etheridge to its roster. The two-time Grammy and Oscar Best Song winner will unveil a box set of unreleased material shortly, and is planning an album of new material for next year, as well as a festival tour. Plans are also afoot for a documentary film. In the meantime, she'll continue to host her topical Melissa Etherdige Radio Show on Benztown Radio Networks. Said Etheridge, "Primary Wave has the creative insight and muscle to make the next half of my career a literal dream come true. If only Larry Mestel would stop singing 'Come to My Window' into the phone every time he called." PW's management roster also includes Cee Lo Green, Ryan Hadlock of The Lumineers, Natalie Imbruglia, Flyleaf, Eric Benet and Audien, among others. (11/13p)
