Times Person of the Year not Miley
PAPAL, ROCK, SCISSORS: Time’s Person of the Year was announced this morning, and Miley somehow lost out to Pope Francis, of all people. In commemoration of the honor, the College of Cardinals has uploaded a spirited rendition of “Wrecking Ball” onto YouTube. Now, it’s known that the Pope is progressive, but we didn’t expect this: Passersby say the white smoke rising up from the Vatican this morning had a distinctly skunky aroma. (12/11a)
