P&E Wing honors Neil Young

EARS OF GOLD: Outspoken audiophile Neil Young will be the honoree at the seventh edition of the Producers & Engineers Wing of the Recording Academy’s Grammy week bash, held, as always, at The Village in West L.A. During the 1/21 event, Young is expected to talk up his highly anticipated hi-fi audio service Pono. Among those on hand will be T Bone Burnett (see next item), Andrew Dost of Fun., Jakob Dylan, Sheila E., Louise Goffin, Kris Kristofferson, Liz Phair, Rick Rubin, Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Ringo Starr, Joe Walsh, Heart’s Ann and Nancy Wilson, host Jeff Greenberg and a very busy Neil Portnow.
