Morrissey signs with Harvest

HARVEST HOME: PoMo icon Morrissey has inked a worldwide recording agreement with Harvest, label GMs Piero Giramonti and Jacqueline Saturn announced this morning. The artist will begin recording of his first album of new material in five years later this month in France with his longtime band and producer Joe Chiccarelli. Capitol Music Group ruler Steve Barnett hailed Morrissey as “one of music’s most important and influential artists” and “the rare soul who has stayed consistently true to his artistic vision and ethical principles since he first exploded onto the scene in the 1980s.
