Idol ratings 2

FALLING IDOL: American Idol dipped still further in the ratings during the second night of its Season 13 premiere, drawing 13.4 million viewers and a 3.9 rating in the 18-49 demo—down 12% from Wednesday's opener. It also marks a 17% drop from the same episode last season and a 30% plunge among young adults. However, FOX network still won the night. One of Idol's opening-night rivals, A&E's rural reality giant Duck Dynasty, has also declined; it dropped 28% from its Season 4 bow, apparently wounded by the fallout of Uncle Phil's highly publicized comments about gay and black people.
