Beats party possibilities

THE POSSIBILITIES ARE ENDLESS: Is Friday’s Beats Music party the hottest ticket in town? It sure feels that way, with everybody in and around the biz endlessly speculating about what sort of show-stopping moment Jimmy Iovine and his team have dreamed up to ensure that this bash will generate the biggest buzz of Grammy week, quite possibly rivaling Music’s Biggest Night itself. Rumors are flying that a Dr. Dre-Ice Cube-Eminem moment could be in mix, and it won’t be at all surprising if Snoop, U2, Madonna and Gaga all take part in the event. All we know for sure is that Tupac won’t be coming to the party. Look at it this way: With the universally renowned Iovine and Trent Reznor running the show, a multimillion-dollar ad campaign cranking up and wall-to-wall media coverage, what act wouldn’t be thrilled to enter into a synergistic relationship with Beats Music?
