Grammy ratings

HOW THEY RATED: According to early numbers, last night's Grammy telecast earned the second-highest ratings in 21 years, slightly up from last year and bested only by 2012's Whitney memorial and Adele fest. The CBS show earned a 10.1 rating with a 25 share, attracting 28.5 million viewers; the network won the night, and dominated in the prized 18-49 demo. Upon hearing the news, Messrs. Portnow and Ehrlich promptly exhaled for the first time in 2014—and then headed over to the Convention Center for the Beatles tribute. (1/27a)
