PROJECTING THE BEATLES: As The Beatles' 50th U.S. Anniversary is upon us, Capitol is giving the legendary band an appropriately colossal presence on the L.A. skyline. Starting tonight and running though Sunday night (the anniversary of the Fab Four's Ed Sullivan appearance and the night of CBS' all-star Grammy tribute show), this image will be projected onto the Capitol Tower. It happens to be the cover of the label's handsome U.S. Albums package, which can be procured via iTunes for a cool $120. (2/7p)
