HARRIS TWEED: Geoff Harris has been anointed CFO for the Capitol Music Group, reporting to Chairman/CEO Steve Barnett and UMG EVP/CFO Boyd Muir. In his new post the UMG veteran will oversee all financial strategy and functions for the Group and each of its divisions and will help appraise Michelle Jubelirer's collection of designer shoes. Harris, previously CFO for UK. Labels at Universal Music London (and at one time a Factory Records staffer and a DJ at Manchester's legendary Hacienda Club), relocates to the Capitol Tower, where he'll have an excellent view of Hollywood freaks with face tattoos. "Geoff brings to CMG a wealth of experience in the financial sector of our business, as well as the skill set of an artist manager and real passion for music," Barnett proclaimed.
