Quantcast

iTunes below Top 10

DOWNLOAD THIS, THE MOTION PICTURE: It's currently #14 on the iTunes singles chart, but look for Idina Menzel's rendition of "Let It Go" from Disney's Frozen ST to spike when the Broadway diva performs the Best Song nominee on ABC's 3/2 Oscars telecast. The soaring ballad would be higher on the chart if iTunes combined the sales for the track from the deluxe and standard versions of the album (the latter "Let It Go" is at #38); the songs themselves are identical.  Of course, the Frozen hit will be competing with the present #1 single, Pharrell's "Happy" (from Despicable Me 2), for the trophy. Speaking of songs from huge family flicks, The LEGOS Movie's parodic theme "Everything Is AWESOME!!!" (performed by Tegan & Sara f/The Lonely Island) has clicked into place at #20. (2/11a)
