YE JOLLY OLDE iTUNES U.K. CHARTS: After several weeks of chat-watching that had us going, “Who are those guys?” Brits and Yanks appear to be far closer in their preferences on the last day of February. Transatlantic hits abound from the likes of American acts like Beyoncé, Katy, Pharrell, John Legend and A Great Big World, as well as mutually beloved U.K. bands Arctic Monkeys and Bastille, while L.A. auteur Beck is getting love from across the pond as well as at home. Looking ahead, it’ll be interesting to see how long it’ll take Sam Smith, Foxes and Tiesto to duplicate their current British successes in America. (2/28a)
