Neil to get UJA Award

START LEARNING YOUR TORAH PORTION: Recording Academy ruler Neil Portnow will receive this year’s Music Visionary Award from the UJA-Federation of New York. The honor, presented to “individuals of integrity, quality and achievement in their career and community,” will be bestowed at a luncheon on 6/25. Kick-off breakfasts to plan the 2014 Music Visionary Event will be held on both coasts—at Fred’s at Barney’s (660 Madison Ave., NYC) on 4/29 at 8:30am, and at Soho House (9200 Sunset Blvd., West Hollywood) on 5/6 at 9am.
