PONO, HE DIDN'T: Neil Young and the PonoMusic team now have the third-most-funded Kickstarter campaign in the fundraising site's history, with a whopping $5.75m. The original funding goal, which was set for $800k over the span of 35 days, was reached in under 10 hours; Team Pono now has more than 16k active backers. As we stated before, Pono's digital media player and platform were created to deliver a higher-quality listening experience for audophiles and hardcore music fans. In its last week, a new signature series player has been added as a reward; the PonoClear is transparent, allowing full view of its innards, and comes packed with music curated by Young's Pono crew.
