Forbes hip-hop list

MAKIN’ CHEESE, 2014 EDITION: Sean “Diddy” Combs tops Forbes’ list of the art form’s wealthiest players of 2014 with a net worth of $700 million, an increased of $120m over last year. Next comes Dr. Dre, whose role in Beats by Dr. Dre and related ventures ups his net worth to $550m; he’s followed closely by Jay Z at $520m (thanks to his Live Nation deal, Roc Nation’s sports division and more). Cash Money co-founder Bryan “Birdman” Williams ($160m) and 50 Cent ($140m) round out the list, which you’ll find here. (4/21a)
