Black Keys on SNL, more

MIDNIGHT SPECIAL: The Black Keys have been booked for Saturday Night Live's on May 10, setting up the release of Turn Blue (Nonesuch/Warner Bros.) the following Tuesday. Charlize Theron, who’s not bad-looking, will host. NBC also announced that the musical guest for the 5/17 season finale will be guitar-shredding art rocker St. Vincent (aka Annie Clark), whose self-titled fourth album (Loma Vista/Republic) has inspired the most positive reviews of her career. The host that night will be Andy Samberg. And while we’re talking rock on the tube, tonight’s season finale of Parks & Recreation, also on NBC, revolves around a musical event, specifically the Pawnee-Eagleton Unity Concert, with a bill of actual and fictional acts that includes The Decemberists, Land Ho! (Jeff Tweedy), Bobby Knight Ranger (Yo La Tengo), Ginuwine, Letters to Cleo and 2008 WKKR Pawnee Battle of the Bands winner Mouse Rat. The episode starts at 8pm. (4/24a)
