LaMontagne to Big Deal

SHELTER: Ray LaMontagne, whose career began when he was signed and developed by Jamie Cerreta and Kenny MacPherson at Chrysalis Music, has inked a publishing deal with Cerreta and Kenny Mac’s new company, Big Deal Music. “Ray is a unique and special artist,” Jamie offered in the announcement. “We began working with Ray in 2003, so to be reunited with him at Big Deal is a dream come true.” LaMontagne’s new RCA album Supernova (his fifth overall) will debut in the Top 5 on the HITS Top 50 Albums chart, which goes final this afternoon.
