THE JOHNSON ADMINISTRATION: Caleb Johnson is the season 13 American Idol victor, after last night's cliffhanger showdown. The finale garnered a 2.6 rating with 18-49s, a 28% decline from the prior season, and 10.2m viewers, nearly 1.5m fewer than the number who watched the live showdown of The Voice earlier this week. Johnson's debut album is due out 8/12 on 19/Interscope and he joins the 2014 Idol tour in June. His "As Long as You Love Me" sits at #135 on iTunes. Noted one observer, Not being on the show might've been better for his career. (5/22p)
