New guy at Legacy

EL SYD: Syd Schwartz has been named VP of Digital Marketing for Legacy Recordings. “A savvy marketing executive who recognized the potential of digital marketing early in the game, Syd is driven by his passion for music and the integrity of the projects he works on,” said Syd’s new boss, EVP Marketing Lyn Koppe. In the new gig, Schwartz, who’s worked at Capitol, Virgin and Wind-up, will manage and oversee the digital marketing team across social media/CRM (customer relationship management), digital technology and digital marketing/outreach, as well as teaching his fellow staffers how to do better at Angry Birds.
