Max Lousada intro/stroke

THE MULTIPLIER: Warner Music U.K. CEO Max Lousada is drawing praise throughout the music biz for his inspired and wildly successful worldwide marketing plan for Ed Sheeran’s x, the week’s top-selling album on both sides of the pond and just about everywhere else records are sold. Lousada, who became WMG’s sole CEO in February when co-CEO Christian Tattersfield stepped down, was recently named Chairman of the BRITS Committee, making him responsible for the 2015 edition of the U.K. equivalent of the Grammys. Max is happening—way. (7/3a)
