KONGOS Badflower Troubadour

WE'RE NOT JOKING: Epic's KONGOS hit L.A.'s iconic Troubadour before a sold-out crowd last night. The band of brothers played a killer set, including the breakout smash "Come With Me Now," "I'm Only Joking" and the summery ear-worm "I Want to Know." Epic prexy Sylvia Rhone ruled the mosh pit. KONGOS' full-length, Lunatic, is currently #18 at iTunes. The evening's opener, local indie-rockers Badflower, turned in a powerful set highlighted by "Heroin," a fave on KROQ's Locals Only show. The room was noticeably loaded with A&R reps and others from a variety of labels, as well as enough agents to rep the entire population of West Hollywood. (7/17p)
