RYAN’S SONGS: Our new friends at BBC Radio 1 hosted hitmaker and OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder today. During a revealing interview, he told Scott Mills about recording Ella Henderson’s chart-topping U.K. single “Ghost” in hotel rooms, working with Adele on her upcoming album and co-writing with 1D’s Harry Styles. Tedder said Styles “actually really impressed me as a writer and great singer,” and he showered praise on Adele, raving, “She can work with anyone in the world she wants to, so I just feel honored to be invited to the party… She’s one of the few artists in the world that can take people, you know the best of the best of writers in the world, and somehow extract the best from them and nothing less… Adele is without question the most talented of anyone that I’ve worked with.” (7/14a)
