Shazam

TAG, THEY'RE IT: We coulda told you that Lava/Republic's "Bang Bang" trio would be the biggest jumper at Shazam this week, but damn, look at those numbers. Meanwhile, indie retro-soulsters Lady (Truth & Soul) fly up 154 places on the wings of a True Blood placement (we tip our hats to supe Gary Calamar), Pitbull's new one (Mr. 305/Polo Grounds/RCA) lives up to its name and The Chainsmokers' "#Selfie" (Republic) is reignited by their new "Kanye" track and lots of activity on the danged ol' Internets. Other gainers include Capitol's Mary Lambert, Columbia's Hozier and Epic's Meghan Trainor. The Top 5 remains unchanged, but we note that Capitol's Sam Smith continues to own 40% of it. To review what Americans are pointing their phones at, sortable by rank, artist and biggest gainers, go here. Passenger, Smith and the "Bang Bang" gals are the three biggest gainers on the U.K. side as well, which you can peruse here. (8/5p)
