#TBT: This Throwback Thursday moment features Rick Springfield, whose 1982 hit "Don't Talk to Strangers" reminds us of the forthcoming HITS 28th Anniversary Issue, where talking to strangers can mean being on the hook for a full-page ad. Speaking of Springfield, the singer/actor (who's managed by Jordan Feldstein and Wayne Sharp at CAM) recently signed on to play Meryl Streep's boyfriend in the upcoming Jonathan Demme flick Ricki and the Flash, published a novel, spoofed his image on Californication, played his usual 90+ yearly concerts and filmed an acoustic concert for TV. Rick's accomplished a lot in the last three decades, whereas we've pretty much just done whatever the hell this is. (8/7p)
