DOWNLOAD THIS: The stars are out in broad daylight at the beginning of the Labor Day Weekend—just look at the singles chart, where the hits too legit to quit are gathered in a constellation of commercial potency. It’s composed of a passel of chicks, established superstars Eminem and Adam Levine and budding superstar Sam Smith, eight of the tracks from UMG and four of those (counting Big Machine’s Taylor) from Republic. Four of the above (including Ariana times two) are also represented on the album leaderboard. And if you look immediately below, you’ll see that a number of these acts and records possess transatlantic appeal. You'll also see that a track from Royal Blood's chart-topping U.K. album is the Free Single of the Week in the U.S. store (highly recommended—and FREE).
