YOUR WEEKLY MARKETSHARE SCORECARD: This week’s frontline round-robin contains no surprises, as Radiohead once put it. In the latter-day music biz, a six-figure chart-topping album will almost always get you the win, and Maroon 5’s V provided just that for IGA. By the same token, a six-figure #2 album will generally put a label into the thick of it, as we see this week with Def Jam’s Jeezy-powered fourth-place finish. Between those two are the usual suspects, 2014 edition—CMG (with four of the top 12 sellers) and Republic (with two of the Top 5 finishers). And Disney’s double shot of soundtrack high test delivers yet again. (9/10a)
