Goldberg goes Nashville

WHAT’S 212 + 615? Longtime friends Gary Belz of Nashville’s House of Blues Studios and Danny Goldberg of NYC-based Gold Village Entertainment are in business together, forming Gold Village Entertainment Nashville. The partnership is an expansion of Goldberg’s seven-year-old parent company, whose management roster includes Steve Earle, The Hives and Against Me! GVE New York’s Brady Brock has been named VP of the new Nashville office. Belz views the hookup as “an opportunity to continue building on our mutual respect and friendship by bringing together our various strengths in different domains of entertainment.” For his part, Goldberg is psyched to be combining Belz’s “interests, values and networks” with his own, and “looking forward to spending more time in Nashville.” Yee-haw, Danny.
