HEARTS ON FIRE: The Empty Hearts is a supergroup that happens to feature some of our favorite musicians. Fronted by Wally Palmar of the Romantics and also featuring bassist Andy Babiuk of the Chesterfield Kings, the Jonathan Wolfson-managed quartet also boasts guitarist Elliot Easton (whose solos for the Cars are pop-rock heaven) and drummer Clem Burke (whose propulsive beats were indispensable to Blondie's appeal). Rock Hall of Famer Ian McLagan of the Faces, meanwhile, adds keyboards. Their album (on 429 Records) is on sale now, led by single "I Don't Want Your Love (If You Don't Want Me)," a spirited slab of garage-rock, seen and heard above and premiering now on VEVO's front page.
