iTunes UK

YE JOLLY OLDE iTUNES U.K. CHARTS: It’s amusing this to see Ed Sheeran’s x right above Chris Brown’s X on the album side, and Sony Music U.K. chief Jason Iley must be smiling as he gazes at Calvin Harris’ “Blame” sitting right above George Ezra’s “Blame It on Me” (looks like there’s enough “Blame” to go around). Throwback newcomer Ezra has got it going on, with both versions of his debut album on the big board, along with his second straight hit single. Speaking of singles, the three amigas’ “Bang Bang,” out in Britain since late July, has suddenly rocketed to #1 for reasons we can’t immediately explain, but we’re looking into it. (9/26a)
