Adam Alpert Sony/ATV

MARTY HOSTS A RAVE: Sony/ATV Music Publishing has announced a joint pubco venture, Selector Songs, with Adam Alpert. Under the terms of the pact between the EDM-focused young player and King of Publishing Marty Bandier, Selector will seek out and develop writers with a specific emphasis on the pop-EDM nexus. You'll recall that Alpert, whose Disruptor Management reps The Chainsmokers and other acts, inked a deal a month ago with Doug Morris' Sony Music to distribute his new label, Disruptor Records and serve as an A&R source. Bandier referred to Alpert as "a clued-up young businessman"; Alpert noted that Selector "round[s] out the one-stop shop" of his Disruptor entities. (10/1p)
