Neil in Brooklyn

A DIAMOND IN FLATBUSH: Neil Diamond's first-ever show in his native Brooklyn? It took place just this week at his Alma Mater, Erasmus Hall High School, with fans of all ages in attendance. The above clip shows the legendary singer/songwriter—whose new Capitol set, Melody Road (streeting on 10/21) marks a gorgeous return—working his magic on the crowd and discussing his forthcoming tour, where he says he and his band will play "wherever they'll have us." President Glauber, who first saw Neil during childhood and subsequently posted a cut-out photo of him from American Way magazine in her room, would like to suggest a concert in her office. (10/2a)
