DARK HORSES: A historically wild and crazy Saturday of football that saw half of the Top 10 teams go down began with a suitably wild and crazy guest appearance by Katy Perry, of all people, on ESPN’s College Gameday. During the show, which aired from Oxford, MS, hours before Ole Miss upset Alabama, the severely coiffed Perry yanked the Bama elephant head off of Lee Corso by the trunk, announced that she has no intention of paying to play the Super Bowl, made a cock joke and correctly picked the Ole Miss upset, drawing cheers from the hometown crowd.
