SHE’S PLAYIN’ & SHE AIN’T PAYIN’: Looks like Katy Perry’s memorably hilarious ESPN College Gameday appearance on Saturday in Oxford—during which she zinged the NFL for its alleged pay-to-play gambit—was a portent, so to speak. Katy will indeed perform at the Super Bowl halftime show, as if you hadn’t guessed. It’s NBC’s turn to air the game, which will take place Feb. 1, by the way. Page Six broke the news—at least they say did, citing an inside source—and that’s good enough for us. But the main thing is, Katy is putting POINTS on the board right now, just like Ole Miss.
