JINGLE BALL ROCKS: iHeartMedia has confirmed the return of the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour. Among the performers locked in for various tour stops are Taylor Swift, Maroon 5, Sam Smith, Ariana Grande, Pharrell, Demi Lovato, Iggy Azalea and 5 Seconds of Summer. The 2014 edition will hit L.A., Minneapolis, Philadelphia, New York, Boston, D.C., Chicago, Miami and other markets. Programming guru Tom Poleman hails the Jingle Ball Tour as “the marquee annual holiday event in every city on the tour," while his presidential partner John Sykes helpfully points out that "Fans throughout the country can watch live on Yahoo, listen live on our radio stations and tune into the nationally televised rebroadcast of the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball on the CW Network." These guys have few if any rivals in terms of luring superstar talent to their events. (10/10a)
