Dej Loaf

DEJ, A VIEW: Detroit hip-hop artist Dej Loaf became a Shazam phenomenon as an indie artist with her "Try Me," flying up the overall chart and most recently dominating in markets like NYC and Philly (#1), Baltimore (#4) and Detroit (#5), among others. A parade of labels came calling, and Columbia got her. As you'll see in this video, wherein she keeps her Glocks near the Rice Krispies, "Try Me" isn't so much a come-on as a warning.  (10/15a)
