HI-DEF: Presenting a bit of Def Jam-themed action from our recently published 28th Anniversary Issue, which emulates the comic books that warped our minds as youngsters. Here we see label chief Steve Bartels hailing artist Jeremih, whose "Don't Tell 'Em" featuring YG is a bona fide monster, topping the Mediabase Rhythmic Chart and hitting the Top 5 at both Pop radio and Shazam. Jeremih also happens to be among the performers at tonight's star-studded 30th Anniversary Concert in Brooklyn, about which you can read more here. We have no doubt both Steve and Jeremih would prefer to be associated with the label's anniversary than with ours. (10/16p)
